Generate a file in the Directory where the MP3 Player starts with any name but the ending must be .url

 

Within that file you copy the link for the radiostation you want to use.

 

echo "scast://7733" > "Smooth Jazz".url

You can have more than 1 file and the Player plays it like an MP3.

 

Remember that MP3's are not decoded via the Optical out !!

 

http://find.me:666/somewhere/my.mp3 - streaming of a normal MP3 file from a Webserver

 

icy://find.me:666/somewhere/funky/station/ - streaming of a Shoutcast-Streams from a private PC - not the ones that are listed at ShoutCast.com .

 

scast://666 - streaming of an official Shoutcast-Station. The number is the Stationsnumber that you can see in your browser link behind 'rn=' when you use you mouse over the TUNE IN button on the shoutcast.com Website.

 

scast://automatic shoutcast query - Plays an automatic query

Important! - Do not play Shoutcast Stations with 'http://' !! Always use 'icy://' .
